Bal Sangopan Yojna is running since 2008 with the help of Govt. of Maharashtra’s Women and Child Development Department. In a single year, around 100 students have taken benefits of Balsangopan Yojna. Eligibility Criteria for Bal Sangopan Yojana

Here is the complete eligibility criteria for beneficiaries of Bal Sangopan Yojna 2021:-

  • Orphans or children whose parents cannot be traced, and who cannot be adopted.
  • Children with a single parent and in a family crisis, death, divorce, separation, abandonment, unmarried motherhood, serious illness, parental hospitalization, etc.
  • Children from disintegrated and single-parent families.children from leprosy and life imprisonment, HIV / AIDS, children with severe mental retardation / multiple disability, children with both parents with disabilities.
  • Those children who are in crises, having severe parental discord, gross neglect, court or police complaints.
  • Out-of-school child laborers (released and certified by the Department of Labor).

    In this initiative, all those children whose parents are unable to take care of them due to various reasons such as disorder (chronic illness), death, separation, or abandonment by one parent or some other calamity are temporarily provided with another family. It is the right of every child to be taken care of by the family, so under the Foster program, the family is made available to the child for a short period of time or for a long period of time.
