 Odisha government is inviting Soura Jalanidhi Yojana online application form at official website odishasolarpump.nic.in. Interested farmers can apply for solar agricultural water pumps at 90% subsidized rates by filling the DBT Jalanidhi Scheme online registration form at odisha Solar Pump portal. Soura Jalanidhi scheme was launched by CM Naveen Patnaik back on 30 November 2018 to increase the use of solar energy in agriculture & empowerment of farmers. The state govt. has now announced an ambitious plan to supply 5,000 solar-powered agricultural pumps to incentivize farmers under Sourajalanidhi Scheme and to reduce the state burden on subsidy.

Soura Jalanidhi scheme will promote the use of green energy, reduce pollution and will also ensure that farmers have sufficient electricity for farming activities. The scheme has been launched for the overall development and progress of villages and agriculture and to irrigate additional 2500 acres of land in the state. In the first phase, the farmers of the unserved and underserved areas will be given the facility and later it will be implemented in the whole state.

Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana Online Application / Registration Form

The state govt. has started Soura Jalanidhi program under which solar pumps would be given to the farmers of Odisha with upto 90% subsidy. Below is the complete procedure to apply online for Soura Jalanidhi scheme:-

STEP 1: Visit the official website of Sourajalanidhi Scheme at odishasolarpump.nic.in

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Apply Online” link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/applyonline to apply online at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.



STEP 3: Upon clicking the link, the page to apply online for Odisha Sourajalanidhi scheme will appear as shown below:-


STEP 4: Applicants must view the check list before proceeding for application and then click at “Proceed” button to open the farmer information entering page.

STEP 5: Here applicants can enter Farmer ID and click at “Search” button to open the Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana online registration form.

STEP 6: Enter the land information in the Odisha Sourajalanidhi Yojana online registration form and click at the “Next” button to proceed to fillup Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana online application form.

Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme Go Ahead Generation

STEP 1: Visit the official website of Sourajalanidhi Scheme at odishasolarpump.nic.in

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Go Ahead Generation” link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/pumpdetails to generate go ahead at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3: Then the page to make Pump Details Entry at odishasolarpump.nic.in portal will appear as shown below:-

STEP 4: Enter the details like application number, pump type, vendor name, model. Then the total cost, govt. share, farmer share information will get displayed on the screen. Click at the “Next” button for Go Ahead Generation at Odisha Solar Pump Nic In Portal.

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Payment” link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/payment to make payment at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3: Then the page for making Odisha Sourajalanidhi Yojana payment will appear as shown below:-


STEP 4: Here applicants can enter Go Ahead Number and click at “Search” button to make payment for Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme.

STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Login” link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/login to make login at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3: Then the page for making Odisha DBT Jalanidhi Scheme Login will appear as shown below:-


STEP 4: Here applicants can enter Username, Password and click at “Login” button to make login for Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme.

Odisha Sourajalanidhi Scheme Status Checking

STEP 2: At the homepage, scroll over the “Report” link and then click at “Check Status” link or directly click https://odishasolarpump.nic.in/checkstatus for checking status at Odisha Solar Pump Portal.

STEP 3: Then the page for making Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme Status Check will appear as shown below:-

STEP 4: Here applicants can enter Application No and click at “Search” button to search status for Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Scheme.

Need for Agriculture Solar Water Pump Scheme

This agriculture water pump scheme will benefit ryots as they would be able to irrigate their crops during day time. Moreover with an increase in electricity demand, the shift of agricultural load to solar energy will save investment on costly thermal power. This scheme will lessen the cost burden of our farmers and will also increase farm incomes.

All the small and marginal farmers having valid farmer ID with minimum 0.5 acre cultivable land holding and a dug well will be covered under the Soura Jalanidhi programme. Around 5,000 solar water pumps will be given to the farmers of Odisha which will create an irrigation potential of an additional 2500 acres in the state. CM launched Odisha Soura Jalanidhi Yojana on 30 October 2018.

This DBT Jalanidhi Scheme will promote usage of solar photo voltaic pump sets and will reduce the carbon foot print in the state. The execution will be carried out as per the operational modalities of OREDA based on the online application and deposit / transfer of farmer share as per intimation of go-ahead.
