The Arunachal Pradesh government has introduced a novel healthcare insurance program named the Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY). Both the Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Mission (AB-PMJAY) and CMAAY will extend coverage of up to Rs. 5 lakh per family to ensure high-quality healthcare. The CMAAY Scheme will deliver cashless medical treatment to underprivileged individuals under the "Assurance Mode" and will supplant the current CM's Universal Health Insurance Scheme (CMUHIS).
