 In Mandvi, the Gujarat Chief Minister introduced the Citizen Smart Card Scheme 2023. Using a video hookup from Gandhinagar, the chief minister launched the new Citizens Smart Cards initiative in the municipalities of Mandvi. The new administrative building and auditorium for the civic organisation were also opened by the CM. Gujarat Citizen Smart Card Scheme 2023

The state govt. of Gujarat has launched Citizen Smart Card Scheme 2023. With the help of digital technology, Gujarat govt. is committed to provide a corruption-free and transparent government.

How to Apply Online for Citizen Smart Card in Gujarat

The Gujarat government is providing a total of 51 services through digital platforms in 8,000 villages. Out these, 35 services have already started through digital platforms. Mandvi Municipality’s Citizen Smart Card Scheme initiative will inspire other local bodies to follow the suit. The details of how to apply online for Citizen Smart Card Scheme in Gujarat are not out yet.

The scheme has officially been launched in a single municipality for now and is expected to be expanded to other municipalities or at the state level. Only after its official launch, the state govt. will invite Citizen Smart Card Scheme application form. These registration forms may be invited through the state govt’s official https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/ website or at a new dedicated portal. As soon as the Gujarat Citizen Smart Card Scheme apply online process starts, we will update it here.

Database of Families in Citizen Smart Card Scheme

Initially, the database of 700 families living in Mandvi town has been prepared for this new Citizen Smart Card Scheme. The database of households will have the following details:-

  • Residents AADHAR card
  • Ration card
  • Election card
  • Recent photographs in the Citizen Smart Cards

All the above mentioned details of the families would be collected with their consent only.

Services that are accessible with Citizen Smart Cards

The central government's digital vault would house the acquired data on the families. All citizens will only need to carry the smart card to access various civic services once the data is ready. Income and BPL certificates are just two examples of the civic services. The Citizen Smart Card service will be beneficial to about 7,000 families.

Program Mokla Mane Samvad

Under the Mokla Mane Samvad programme, the chief minister of Gujarat also engages in interactive discussions with cattle owners from various districts. The Gujarat government's project aims to increase milk production and preserve the local Gir and Kankrej cow breeds to the level of Kamdhenu. The treatment of animal husbandry is now equal.
