The Gujarat government is providing a total of 51 services through digital platforms in 8,000 villages. Out these, 35 services have already started through digital platforms. Database of Families in Citizen Smart Card Scheme

Initially, the database of 700 families living in Mandvi town has been prepared for this new Citizen Smart Card Scheme. The database of households will have the following details:-

• Residents AADHAR card
• Ration card
• Election card
• Recent photographs in the Citizen Smart Cards

All the above mentioned details of the families would be collected with their consent only.

Services that are accessible with Citizen Smart Cards

The central government's digital vault would house the acquired data on the families. All citizens will only need to carry the smart card to access various civic services once the data is ready. Income and BPL certificates are just two examples of the civic services. The Citizen Smart Card service will be beneficial to about 7,000 families.
