STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Registration” link present in the main menu or directly click ahgoshalareg.up.gov.in/eDist/GoshalaRegistration.aspx
STEP 3: Accordingly, the UP Gaushala Registration Form 2023 will appear as shown below:-


STEP 4: Here applicants can enter goshala name, establishment date, district, applicant name, father’s name, username, e-mail, password to fillup UP Goshala Registration Form online.

STEP 1: Firstly visit the official UP State Goshala Registration System Portal at ahgoshalareg.up.gov.in/eDist/Home.aspx


STEP 2: At the homepage, click at the “Verification” link present in the main menu or directly click ahgoshalareg.up.gov.in/eDist/Verification.aspx

STEP 3: Accordingly, the UP Gaushala Certificate Verification page will appear as shown below:-


STEP 4: Here applicants will have to select their district, enter certificate number and then click at “Get Status” button to check UP Goshala Certificate Verification status through online mode.

UP Registered Goshalas List PDF Download / Print

Registration Status

About Uttar Pradesh Gaushala Act 1964

The Uttar Pradesh Gaushala Act of 1964 plays a significant role in ensuring effective management and control of Goshalas throughout the state. It applies to the entire state of Uttar Pradesh. As per this act, a Goshala is defined as a charitable institution that houses cattle, provides them with proper care, maintains them, and offers support to weak, old, needy, or sick animals. The Goshalas can receive such animals from the police administration and other sources. They are established by self-help organizations utilizing their own resources.

According to Section 04 of the Act, after the trustee submits a registration statement, a rule-manager is appointed. The Goshala registration is recorded in the State Goshala Register. Presently, there are a total of 498 registered Goshalas in the state.

Subject to the prior approval of the state government, the Act allows for efficient technical management of cattle in Goshalas, transportation of cattle for breeding purposes, maintenance of rationing records, separation of male and female animals for rationing purposes, and regulation of medical treatment and inspections.
