Himachal Pradesh government has taken several positive steps to improve standard of living besides providing basic amenities to the people of the State. Himachal Pradesh govt. has sanctioned 12,000 houses with basic amenities during the current year. Last year, this number was 10,000.

CM mentioned “Under Swaran Jayanti Ashraya Yojana, 12000 beneficiaries will be provided houses equipped with all basic facilities. By 2024 all eligible applicants of SC category will be provided house”.

Any eligible candidate can apply online for housing subsidy under Swaran Jayanti Ashraya Yojana at https://kalyan.hp.gov.in/. At the homepage of Kalyan HP Gov In portal, one can click at the “Register” button to open स्वर्ण जयंती आश्रय योजना online registration form.


Fill in the details and click “Register” button to complete SJAY registration process. Then make login to proceed to apply online for Swaran Jayanti Ashraya Yojana.

Eligibility Criteria for Swaran Jayanti Aashray Yojana

The eligibility criteria for this program are as follows:

The applicant must possess permanent residency status in the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The applicant should be a member of the scheduled caste (SC) category.

The applicant must not have any outstanding loans with any bank or financial institution.

The applicant should not have property registered in their name in Himachal Pradesh or any other region of the country.
