Jammu & Kashmir Ration Card List 2024 (District / Tehsil Wise) Download or Check Your Name @ rcms.jk.gov.in

The Food and Civil Supplies Department of Jammu and Kashmir has recently unveiled the 2024 edition of the district and tehsil-wise J&K Ration Card New List, now accessible online at rcms.jk.gov.in. This initiative aims to facilitate citizens who previously applied for ration cards, allowing them to conveniently verify their inclusion in the list or download the E-PDS roster of eligible APL, BPL, Antyodaya, or NFSA beneficiaries.

The J&K government's decision to publicize the ration card new list for 2024 serves the purpose of simplifying the beneficiary identification process. Individuals can easily locate their names in the J&K NFSA eligible beneficiaries list for 2024. Furthermore, individuals are now able to ascertain their eligibility for ration cards tailored to below the poverty line (BPL) or Antyodaya beneficiaries through the e-PDS system.

Ration Card is an essential document for the APL / BPL people to take benefits of most govt. schemes in Jammu & Kashmir. It is important to note that ration card holders only can purchase Ration at subsidized rates from Ration Shops located nearby.

J&K Ration Card New List 2024 – Find Name Online

All the candidates who had previously applied for the new ration card now check their name in J&K ration card list 2024 for NFSA beneficiaries through the link given below

STEP 1 – Visit the official website

First visit the official website of Jammu Kashmir RCMS at https://rcms.jk.gov.in/ and then click “Ration Card Drilldown Report” under the “Ration Card” menu on the top of the front page as shown in the below image.


STEP 2 – Verify the Captcha

Now you will be redirected to a page which asks for Captcha image text, enter the Captcha image text and click “Verify” button as shown in below image.


STEP 3 – Choose your district / DFSO and scheme name

After verifying the captcha image, you will be shown a page like below. Here you can choose your “District“, “DFSO“, “Scheme Name” and “Report Name” and the click the “View Report” button.

STEP 4: DFSO Wise ration cards list

After clicking the “View Report” button, you will see the DFSO wise ration cards count similar to below image. Now click on the DFSO name.


STEP 5: TFSO Wise ration cards count

Now you will see the TFSO wise ration cards count and you need to further click on the TFSO link as shown in the below image.


STEP 6: FPS wise ration card count

Now you will see the report of number of ration cards for each Fair Price Shop in the selected TFSO. Now you can click the Fair Price Shop link to view the final ration card list.


STEP 7: Final Ration card list – FPS wise

In this final step, you will see the complete ration card list along with the member details under the selected FPS.


STEP 8: Download Ration card list PDF

In order to download the Jammu & Kashmir ration card list PDF, you can use “ctrl+p” buttons in your laptop / computer keyboard and then select “PDF” in the destination and “Landscape” in the orientation for better viewing experience, as shown in below image.


In the download PDF of ration card list, you can perform name search.

However there is no direct link to download the ration card list but one can download it using the “Print” button given at the bottom of the list or use the “ctrl+p” button to print the entire list.

J&K Ration Card Application Status

Applicants can also check the status of their ration cad application in Jammu Kashmir on the official website at jk.epds.nic.in using the steps below:

STEP 1: Visit the official website at https://rcms.jk.gov.in/indexV.aspx and then click “Ration Card Search with Aadhaar ID” under the “Ration Card” menu.

STEP 2: Verify the captcha image text.

STEP 3: Now enter your Aadhar number and click the “View Report” button as shown in the below image.

STEP 4: After clicking the button, you will see the status of the ration card applied using the entered Aadhar number, if you see the ration card details, it means you Ration card application has been approved and your ration card has been created.

If you see any error or invalid Aadhar number or invalid ration card message, then it means your ration card application is still being processed.

How to Apply Online for Jammu and Kashmir Ration Card

In case the name of people does not appears in the Jammu & Kashmir Ration card list, then one can apply online for name inclusion in RC beneficiaries list.

Application Fees

There is no application form filling fee and there is no requirement to pay any fees while applying online for new ration card in Jammu & Kashmir. However, applicants can collect their ration cards from the concerned authorities on making a payment of Rs. 5 per copy.

Timelines for Issuing Ration Card in Jammu & Kashmir

All the applicants can submit the complete Jammu & Kashmir Ration Card online application form and new ration cards would be issued within 15 days of submission of application. However in certain cases, 1 month time is required to issue a new ration card.

Linking of Aadhar Card with Ration Card

People can now link their Unique Identification Number or Aadhaar Card with their ration card. This can be done online by visiting the official portal and then clicking at the “Link to UID” link.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for J&K Ration Card

All the applicants must meet the basic eligibility criteria to get a new ration card in Jammu & Kashmir:-

a) Applicants who are permanent resident of J&K can apply.
b) Households not already having ration card in the state are eligible.
c) Newly married couples can apply for new ration card.
d) Citizens having temporary ration cards whose date has been expired are eligible.

It is important to note that the issue of new ration card in J&K would be based on the household income as well as economic conditions of the family.

Below is the complete list of documents required to apply online for new ration card in J&K:-

  1. Residential proof such as Voter ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card (Scanned Copy)
  2. Age Certificate (Scanned Copy)
  3. Caste Certificate (Scanned Copy)
  4. Identity Proof like Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving License, Aadhar Card (Scanned Copy)
  5. Income proof of the family (Scanned Copy)
  6. Recent Passport Size Photograph of the applicant
  7. Valid Mobile Number / E-mail ID
  8. Previous Electricity Bills
  9. Bank Passbook
  10. Gas Connection Details
  11. Self Declaration and Certificate issued by Ward Councillor/ Pradhan
  12. Tenancy Agreement (if applicable)

In case of non-possession of above mentioned documents, applications for new ration cards are liable to get rejected.
